In early 2025, an investor from Cluj-Napoca, Romania approached EPARK with the intention of developing an indoor family entertainment venue inside a regional shopping mall. The goal was to create a multifunctional environment that engaged children, pre-teens, and teenagers within the same space, while increasing dwell time, improving operational control, and maximizing overall revenue performance. EPARK proposed a hybrid solution integrating an indoor playground, an arcade machine zone, and a full cashless card management system to provide comprehensive control over admissions, gameplay, member tracking, and spending behavior.
EPARK designed the indoor playground as the core of the venue, featuring a multi-level soft play structure equipped with slides, climbing elements, obstacle tubes, net bridges, and interactive play panels suitable for children aged 3–10. A separate toddler area provided a protected environment tailored for younger children.
The layout emphasized visibility, with open sightlines from all adult seating areas to ensure parents could supervise comfortably while enjoying F&B services.

To diversify the customer base and extend stay duration, EPARK incorporated a 70㎡ arcade area featuring a dual-screen racing simulator, a 65-inch LCD basketball machine, a two-player monster shooting game, an air hockey table, and the popular cat-design claw machines in multiple colors. These machines were selected for their strong repeat-play value and consistent income performance within medium-sized venues.
To enhance management efficiency and revenue tracking, the investor adopted EPARK’s full cashless card system.
This system connected all arcade machines, playground access points, and membership services into a unified platform.
The cashless solution enabled:
Centralized management of all machines through real-time data reporting
Automated revenue tracking, eliminating manual counting
Improved customer experience by allowing parents and children to use a single card for all activities
Flexible pricing models, including bonus credits, time packages, loyalty points, and birthday offers
Higher operational security, reducing the risk of cash discrepancies
The integration of the card system created a transparent financial structure and allowed the investor to evaluate high-performing attractions, adjust pricing strategies, and plan future upgrades based on accurate data.

The combination of soft play, arcade equipment, and the convenience of a unified card system significantly increased the amount of time families remained in the venue. Parents reported that the seamless transition between activities encouraged children to explore more areas, while older siblings remained engaged longer in the arcade zone.
The hybrid model introduced multiple income streams—playground admission, arcade gameplay, claw machine rewards, and café purchases—while the cashless system allowed all transactions to be recorded accurately. This structure created a stable and predictable revenue pattern even during weekdays.
The cashless entry control helped regulate playground capacity, improving safety and ensuring compliance with mall management regulations.
Real-time monitoring allowed the operator to allocate staff more efficiently based on visitor volume.
The Romanian investor expressed high satisfaction with the quality of the playground equipment, the performance of the arcade machines, and especially the convenience of the cashless card system. According to the client, the integrated management platform simplified operations, reduced staff workload, and provided clear financial records that improved decision-making. The investor reported that parents appreciated the ease of using a single reloadable card for all activities, which also encouraged additional gameplay and repeat visits.
The successful completion of the Romania 320㎡ project demonstrates the commercial advantages of combining indoor playground structures, high-earning arcade machines, and a comprehensive cashless card management system. EPARK’s turnkey solution enabled the venue to serve a wide range of age groups while maintaining operational efficiency, safety, and sustainable long-term profitability. This project reinforces EPARK’s expertise in designing integrated entertainment facilities for international markets and highlights the growing demand for hybrid FEC models.
